DIRECTIONS

By subway from New York Penn Station: Take the Uptown A/C/E train to 42nd St/Port Authority (one stop only). Proceed to Port Authority directions.

By subway from Port Authority Bus Terminal: Take the 7 or the S train to 42nd St/Grand Central. Proceed to Grand Central directions.

By subway from Grand Central Station: Take the Downtown/Brooklyn bound 6 train to 23rd Street. You exit on Park Avenue and 23rd Street. Walk north to 25th Street. Turn right and walk east past Lexington Ave, 3rd Ave, 2nd Ave and 1st Ave. The entrance to the campus will be on your left. From Park Avenue and 23rd Street, you may also take the eastbound 23rd street bus to First Avenue, then walk two blocks north to 25th Street.

By taxi: Taxis are readily available at all train and bus stations, as well as throughout the city. Ask to be taken to Hunter College at 25th Street and 1st Avenue.

By automobile:

From G. W. Bridge - Follow signs to Harlem River Drive, which becomes F.D.R. drive, to 23rd Street exit. Make first right turn after exit, this is 25th Street. Entrance to campus is on your right.

From Westchester or the Bronx - Take appropriate East River crossing to Harlem River Drive or F.D.R. Drive to 23rd Street exit. Follow directions above.

From Brooklyn or points south - Take any East River crossing to F.D.R. Drive northbound. Exit at 23rd Street exit. At 23rd street, there is a Gulf gas station on your right. There is parking there or, make a left turn on 23rd Street, go under F.D.R. Drive, and at first light, make a right. Go to the end of the block, make a left onto 25th Street. Entrance to campus will be on your right.

PARKING

Waterside, which is a large housing complex between the F.D.R. Drive and the East River, is located directly across the F.D.R. Drive from the campus. They have parking available, with a pedestrian bridge crossing the F.D.R. Drive to 25th street. You can get to Waterside from the northbound F.D.R. Drive service road via 23rd street. There are parking lots between first and second avenue on 28th street, 29th street, 31th street, and south of 23rd street.
